People of diverse backgrounds prove successful in advanced finance. In order to level the playing field among the entering MCF class, before the beginning of the program we organize an approximately two-months long bootcamp in programming (mostly Python, some R), math and probability theory. We illustrate concepts, whenever possible, using examples from finance and economics. In this way participants learn both technical subjects and finance and economics concepts at the same time.
MCF is envisioned as a one-year program. To complete the MCF (Short program) one needs to pass 5 required and 2 out of 4 elective courses.
