The Ominimo Excellence Scholarship is a full-tuition grant awarded to one incoming student of the Master in Computational Finance for the academic year 2026/27.
The scholarship is awarded as a pure grant — it carries no employment obligations for the recipient, and no recruitment expectations from Ominimo. You are free to pursue your own path. This award is about who you are and what you are capable of — nothing else.
Covering full tuition and all applicable fees, this scholarship removes every financial barrier between an outstanding candidate and one of Europe’s most rigorous programs at the intersection of finance, data science, and artificial intelligence.
Founded in Serbia and Hungary, Ominimo has grown into a pan-European insurtech force — serving over 500,000 customers across multiple markets in just a few years of operation.
The selection is highly competitive. We are not looking for a profile — we are looking for an individual. That said, the strongest candidates will demonstrate:
Outstanding analytical ability and a strong academic record, regardless of discipline.
Genuine fascination with the intersection of mathematics, finance, and technology.
Ambition to apply data science and AI to problems that matter in financial practice.
A clear, personal reason for pursuing computational finance — and for wanting the MCF specifically.
Candidates come from diverse academic backgrounds — engineering, economics, mathematics, law, medicine. What unites them is rigor, ambition, and the conviction that finance and technology, together, can be a force for change.
Your application must include:
Complete the MCF application form and indicate interest in the scholarship.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview as part of the selection process.
